Comfortis chewable tablets kill fleas and prevent infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) on dogs for one month.COMFORTIS chewable tablets (spinosad) are given orally once a month, at the recommended minimum dosage of 13.5 mg/lb (30 mg/kg) and starts to work in 30 minutes. Customer Reviews: Not guaranteed by Lilly November 2, 2008 On line companies like this site and Pet meds get their prescription products by soliciting unethical veterinarians to buy it for them. If you buy a prescription product and need help, the company who makes the product cannot help you because they DO NOT sell directly to these online companies! If you want to be assured of the products safety and quality buy from your vet! Found out the hard way. Great, but not from Entirely Pets August 6, 2008 I bought one dose of Comfortis from my local vet for $18 and it worked great. Both Advantage and Frontline stopped working for more than a week on my dog and Comfortis worked for about 6 weeks. I thought I could save some $ by ordering online so I submitted an order with Entirely Pets and my experience was horrible. I just got off the phone with them after cancelling my order. They require a perscription (a major detail not on their website) so they asked for my vet's contact information. The first time i called them they lost my vets phone number. The second time they tried to call the fax number and called me back to say that it was not a valid number. The third time they finally got the phone number right but they said the vet refused to fill a perscription (even though I had cleared it with the vet a week earlier). I'm not sure what language these people speak but they can't seem to do the leg work for me to get an order processed. I love Comfortis and wish I could get it from somewhere else! But Entirely Pets was not the answer for me.
