Need help identifying my Doberman Mix!
« on: 05/15/06 11 AM »

Hi, everyone. We just adopted a Doberman mix puppy. Piper is between 6 and 8 months old, and we know for sure she has Doberman in her, but we're so curious about what else she's mixed with! If any of you have Doberman mixes, maybe you can help! Piper has the Dobe face and ears (uncropped) for sure, as well as the body frame i think. She's mostly black, with tan paws and some tan in her face. She also has a huge, adorable white stripe down her chest and belly. Any ideas?? I'm going to try and attach a picture of her (not sure if you can do this here?). ALSO, any idea of how big she might get? Right now she's about 35 pounds, and again, she's 6-8 months old (probably closer to 8 months). We've always adopted adult mutts, so we're really new to the puppy thing and would love your input! Thanks!

Hi Puppy Love, Really can't help you without a picture, The Dobe part sounds pretty definate, maybe a bit on the small side if the puppy is around eight months. Try to get a photo up as I am really curious. I too have a Dobe X. Keep in touch, this is a great forum.

Hiya Maaz, i am running out to obedience class now, but no i don't think anyone is reading this page, if you click on PuppyLove username you might be able to send a message, i think its usually called a Private Message or PM. Try that, dying to see what this hound looks like !!

If you send that PM suggest she upload the picture to the mixed breed album in the gallery and then update this thread - I'm trying to keep most of the dog pictures over there.

Thanks!
