Dog Training makes the world go round.

I have just discovered that dogs need to be measured before competeing in Agility competitions. Information seems scatty and nobody seems to know the exact rules. I know the dog has to be measured at 15 months, and it seems like he has to be measured again at 24 months. Trying to contact the kennel club is a nightmare, and the information on their website does not answer my question. This is, Can I compete with the dog after its first measurement and before the second,or do I have to wait till the second measurment? Also, what are the reasons behind enforcing this new law? The only benefit that I can see is the fact that some people are making a lot of money out of this. I would apprediate any information on this subject. Dog Lover

Hi ya, I hope someone can help you with your question - it is specific to the UK, yes? You may also wish to post this (or I can move it) in Dog Agility. Feel free to just copy and paste it and leave this original posting here - I'd prefer it that you get help with your question, rather than trying to keep things too tidy around here.
