Obama Family Dog Adoption Choice

President-elect Obama is going to deliver on a promise to his daughters to get them a new puppy dog.

Time for us to start a discussion thread on this subject of national, and perhaps international importance.

One child is apparently allergic to dog hair, so Senator Obama has expressed an interest in a pure bred dog like a Poodle that has nearly hypo allergenic qualities.

Thankfully, he has also expressed a desire to adopt a shelter dog, but that he thought may make it harder to find a pure bred dog. Of course, this ignores the fact that he can contact any one of a number of Poodle Rescues, but he may not have known about that, being without dog, at the time of his comments.
