New video shows at least one Sumner County Animal Shelter Veterinarian covering a video surveillance camera. The cameras were installed after a controversy over methods used by a Sumner County Veterinarian when euthanizing pets, allegedly, without sedation. That Vet was fired. The video was released by the Sheriff's department. The Veterinarians who covered the cameras claim they did so because euthanasia is "not a public spectacle." The Vets who covered the cameras say the controversy over their actions covering the cameras is such that they will no longer work at the Animal Shelter some 30 miles Northeast of Nashville, Tennessee. http://eplayer.clipsyndicate.com/cs_api/get_swf/2/&csEnv=p&wpid=368&va_id=673901
