Grrrrr. We blew it. Well, I blew it. Like yacking up a big ball of chewed grass, blew it. I did not mention, in advance, that June 20, 2008, was the official Take Your Dog To Work Day. I apologize for that.
This is a recent but wonderful annual tradition. Our inspiration, the late great Ansel, was at work with me many days of his long life. There was hardly a time when the situation was a poor fit for his good mannered presence.
But there were some, so he stayed home, until I could rush back to see him and kiss that soft cheek.
I'm still without a canine member of my pack so perhaps that is one reason this slipped my mind. But the truth is I was just uber busy. And I blew it.
Did you take your dog to work yesterday? I hope so!
Would love to hear your stories in this thread. They'd be even better if you posted any pictures you took during the day (you can post them to you own photo site or our dog picture gallery and then embed them).
