This is a sad and ugly story. Former Houston Texans Linebacker Steve Foley turned himself in to authorities at the Fort Bend County Jail, in Texas, after allegations and an indictment claimed that two pit bulls owned by him attacked a woman and killed a puppy she was holding.
The charges rise to a felony status and have already resulted in Foley's dogs being euthanized by local animal control officials. The woman suffered bite wounds on her arms and to her face.
If convicted, Linebacker Foley could be in prison for up to 10 years.
