Just heard the news that the classic Iditarod dog race in Alaska will increase the entry fee for the 2009 race by $1,000.00 due to the price of gasoline and other fuels needed for the logistical support (snowmobiles, etc.) vehicles.
Any of our readers participated in an Iditarod? It would be interesting to hear your stories.
