Folks please be aware that a fire is now raging through California's Malibu community. There may be a huge need for housing, food and water for frightened stray dogs, horses and cats, pets displaced due to forced evacuations and injured wildlife.
If you know of points of contact for safe donations and information on what is needed or how to help, please add it.
Dry and canned pet food, horse feed and perhaps crates and bowls may be needed.
Here is one resource:

I've not found a single agency or group yet that is coordinating efforts, nor do I know for certain that help is needed, but this Malibu fire is growing by leaps and bounds and I hope our readers can help if help is needed.

Saturday morning 24 November finds the return of Santa Ana winds and a raging wildfire which has already destroyed 35 homes in Malibu.
There are evacuations in the canyons North of Malibu Canyon and the fire appears to be burning in a North Westerly direction toward the sea.
Please reference the Agoura Shelter information in the first post in this thread and keep your eyes open for ways to help the pets, pet owners and wildlife impacted by this fire.
NPR is reporting some 1,500 acres have already burned.
