Lost Yorkie in Pasadena

Have You Seen Piper?

Piper

Rebecca, Piper’s person, called us today to tell us about  how Piper got lost and asked if we could help with finding her.  Piper was lost around between 6:40 and 7pm on Tuesday, May 1st on the 1400 block of Corson St. in Pasadena.

This block of Corson is between Hill Ave and Sierra Bonita Ave...She could have walked to Hill or Sierra Bonita, and possibly even to Locust which is the street that runs parallel to Corson. These four streets form a square: Hill Ave, Corson St., Sierra Bonita Avenue and Locust St. Another nearby street is Walnut and then Colorado. This whole area is near Pasadena City College and the 210 Freeway.

Piper left to explore the world when the garage door or the front door of Rebecca’s parents home was mistakenly left open.

Rebecca wants you know the following about Piper. “She would have wandered out with a little pep in her step perhaps but not as if fleeing the scene. She would have moseyed along, sniffing flowers and grass, stopping to pee, soaking up the lovely L.A. smog. She does not ever flee/run out of the house, but she is a Yorkie so she is curious.”

“Her overall temperament is just sugar sweet. She can be shy though, but with people, particularly women, she is friendly. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her little 4 pound body, which is wonderful but of course makes it easier for someone to snatch her.”

Piper wasn’t wearing a collar at the time she was lost, but she is microchipped.  She is almost 8 years old.  She has stomach/intestinal issues and dental problems so she requires special food and takes medicine.

Piper’s hair was just cut, so it's a little bit shorter than in this picture

You can imagine how heartbroken Rebecca and her family is.  If you have seen Piper,or have any information about her please call Rebecca at:213-810-5302or her mother,Yvonne, at: 626-437-6370. Or you can email Rebecca at freelily@mac.com.  You can also help by passing on and posting the attached flyer(Click here to download) to your personal network.   Thank you for your prayers and well wishes and anything you can do to reunite Rebecca and Piper.
