FAQ & Posting Guidelines

Dear Pack, please abide by the following guidelines and rules when posting to our boards:

1) Please do not spam the forum - this is a violation of our TOS which users must agree to when they register. If you are posting a link that even remotely seems like an advertising message it is going to look like spam - please don't.

2) Posts with more than one external link or calls to join another site will likely be edited or removed. Please don't post such messages here.

Not only will they get changed, your actions can harm DogExplorer.com because such posts may look like we host spam to Google, MSN and Yahoo.

Use external links very carefully!

We are not here to promote other sites but we do wish to support worthy causes - it is a fine line - err on the side of caution.

And be sure your FIRST post here contains no external links - that is simply bad manners to show up, post about somewhere else, etc.

4) Do not post copyrighted materials of any kind without the express written permission of the owner.

5) Please post all links as hyperlinked text:

6) Please do not use the "Marquee" format button on your posts - it will mess up our home page when it is excerpted to run in the little box of "live from our forum."

7) Forum Signature Files
Signature files are a privilege for active members of the forum. I'm the publisher, and thus I've the ability to use a custom signature as needed. Members are limited to a single external link and 10 words of text in their signatures. If you have not been active in a year your signature may be removed without notice. No links to external sites that are harmful (in the sole judgment of the publisher) are allowed.
