I sure know that there are big problems elsewhere in the world, but the lapse in judgement demonstrated by this disturbing story is amazing. It seems that a neurosurgeon gave an unauthorized demonstration of a medical device on a live dog to a bunch of sales people. The dog had an "induced brain aneurysm" and the device was supposed to be a tool to fix such damage. Not sure why, but the dog was killed when the whole thing was over. Sickening. If the surgeon demonstrating the procedure even had the required permission it is still awful. This was done so a bunch of people could sell a product successfully. Ahh well they say MONEY makes the world go round. This dog died so that someone could fill their pockets......

Says a lot about this MD's choices. I'm all for advancing medicine and science, but not much of a fan of this type of animal "use."
