I buy these for my husky pup all the time. He absolutely loves them. I normally try to find the 8 in. bones since he's a big dog and he needs something large. He loves mostly all the flavors the same although I tend to think the chicken is his favorite. The reason I gave this only 4 stars is because the beef and chicken bones are basted for extra flavor, which is why they are colored. The basting when wet with water or saliva will tend to run onto your dogs fur or could run onto furniture or rugs. We have hardwood floors so it's not a problem for us. The color washes out without a problem and doesn't stain my pups fur (which is white in some places). He always chews on his blanket or towel so I just pop it in the washer to get out the color. For some people I know this would be a problem. If so I suggest buying only the peanut butter or liver flavored bones which do not run at all. Also you can rinse the chicken and beef bones to wash off most of the basting on the outside, this will keep it from running much. That doesn't seem to make a difference in how much he likes the bones. These bones are also compressed rawhide which is way safer for you dog since they cannot take big undigestable chunks which can get stuck in their intestines. With regular rawhide you take the chance that can happen and it's very expensive to fix if your dogs intestines get blocked. Very good bone, well liked and affordable if you can find them online here or other sites that sell compressed rawhide bones.
