Overstocked and under-funded, LeLand Gordon, Shelter Director of the Butler County, Ohio, Animal Friends Humane Society in Trenton, Ohio, explains the desperate need for new facilities in this dog video news story.
The Animal Friends Shelter is the only Butler County facility to accept every animal delivered. Problems are developing with sick animals convalescing next to healthy animals posing the risk of the spread of contagious diseases among the pets. An effort is underway to provide the financial resources through increased fees, a local tax or perhaps donations.
